Hall’s Family Academy believe that every child represents the promise of a better tomorrow, which is why for nearly 5 years, we have partnered with parents, children, staff, and the communities we serve to make a difference in so many young lives. We remain steadfast in our commitment, especially to those children across the Hilltop Area of Pittsburgh who are underserved. One of our business partners who also focus on Early Childhood Education and the childcare crisis. In partnership with Mommy’s Imagination Station® exists to provide a brighter future for children. To provide a greater impact and provide resources to the community.
Research shows that children’s experiences in the first five years play a significant role in overall health, confidence and success later in life. High-quality early childhood education helps children develop a strong foundation of cognitive and social emotional skills, which increases their ability to enter elementary school ready to succeed. Yet, over 50% of U.S. families live in a child care desert, meaning they do not have sufficient access to providers. Furthermore, the families that do have access often lack the diversity of options to meet their unique needs. We are dedicated to helping mothers who are of single parent house holds.

Executive Director
Hi everyone, my name is Tashanna Hall. I am the Founder and Executive Director (ED) of Hall’s Family Academy. Hall’s Family Academy was founded in July 2018. I have a Degree in Business, CDA, and over 10 years of Early Childhood Education. During my career, I have managed to grow and expand 3 Child Care Business. I have been featured on NBC News, CBS News, USA TODAY News, THE Pittsburgh Post Gazette News, and FOX News for being Pittsburgh’s Top Rated Childcare Business in 2022. I also grew all 3 business and sustained them through out the Covid 19 Pandemic.
As Executive Director of Hall’s Family Academy , I take great pride in knowing that our Center is one that strives for excellence and quality in child care while promoting our Co-operative spirit. We have a wonderful complement of staff; dedicated and truly amazing at what they do. Part of my role as Executive Director is to keep abreast of, and advocate for the Early Childhood profession. I currently sit on Mommy’s Imagination Station board Committee as Chief Executive Officer. Being a part of these professional networks allows me the opportunity to share information with our staff and build knowledge.
